Culture makes the world more beautiful! With us, you’ll find support for creative work and connections to social engagement, as well as supportive and preventive offers in the fields of education and research – we summarize all this under “health for body and mind.”

 

The non-profit association “Labor519” creates culture with this idea and initiates connections: In Essen, people from very different backgrounds live together. Some have recently arrived from many places, others are deeply familiar with the history of the area. Contrasts and exchange are part of cultural development.

For music, dance, and performance, we support implementation through various assistance services. We think of all this holistically: we connect the structures of a large cultural institution with small local places for people “next door.” We are cultural practitioners ourselves and believe in win-win situations: we want things to happen and, within our means, help improve working conditions for artists.

 

The non-profit association “Labor519” registered non-profit (gem. V.) fulfills

§ 52 para. 2 nos. 1, 4, 5 and 7 AO:

• Science and Research (#1): Promotion of scientific work, projects and institutions, as well as knowledge transfer through events or publications.
• Youth and Elderly Support (#4): Support for measures to care for and promote young people as well as assistance and support for older people.
• Art and Culture (#5): Organization of cultural events, promotion of artists, preservation and maintenance of cultural heritage such as monuments or museums.
• Healthcare (#7): Promotion of preventive measures, health education and support in the field of medical care.

We are also happy to develop an individual funding purpose that matters to you.
